The Extension Educators are appointed positions. The University of Minnesota Extension Service is cooperatively funded by the County, the University of Minnesota, and the USDA.
Extension educators are available to provide educational programs, assistance and research-based information on topics relating to agriculture, home economics, 4-H, youth development and horticulture.

Educators can call on state extension specialists for assistance and the most current research and recommendations.
